A Good Day

Picking Basil and making Pesto, having company from Chicago, watching them groom my cat, waiting for puppies to arrive, ignoring the phone when it rang, not answering e mails, collecting two days worth of eggs, squirting the Father Goose with the hose, feeding the lambs corn out of my hand, watching two Hummingbirds visit my hanging baskets, showing off the garden to city company, walking Josie and Pilgrim on the newly paved road in front of the house, watching the sun rise this morning, watching the sun set this evening, makes for a good day. A very good day, indeed!
