The plants look good and have healthy root systems.\u00a0 I started the plants from seed in March. Swiss Chard, Red Kale, and Collard greens went in today. Five varieties of lettuce were planted yesterday.\u00a0 All this green stuff makes for wonderful salads. The steamed greens with garlic and a little olive oil are wonderful.\u00a0 One of the square foot gardens will be planted with greens. Another one of the square foot gardens will be planted with a variety of herbs. I take my basket and scissors out with me and it is instant salad.
