My big basket contains tomatoes, okra, mustard greens, and cabbage.\u00a0 What is really fun for me is to collect herbs and load up the dehydrators. Basil, thyme, sage, Italian parsley, tarragon, and lemon balm are drying now. The green house has become my drying house. There are two dehydrators plugged in and drying the herbs.\u00a0 By tomorrow, the herbs will be dry enough to grind up and stored in glass jars.\u00a0 Thanks to my mother in law, I have a lot of the old time blue canning jars. Those old jars make great storage containers\u00a0 for my herbs. They look so cool marching along the pantry shelves. Each jar is labeled with the name of the herb.<\/p>\n<p>When the world looks blacker by the day,\u00a0 it helps to focus on happy things.\u00a0 My garden is my happy place.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning was a good time to pick.
