They lay eggs in a wide variety of colors, pale blue, dark blue, various shades of green , and a few light brown\/pink ones. Collecting their eggs never gets boring.\u00a0 Each hen will lay 200-280 eggs a year. The Araucana&#8217;s will be housed in the chicken house close to the green house.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, I will order Barred Rock chicks. They will live in the old milk house next t o the barn. We converted it into a chicken house several years ago. The Barred Rock hens will lay 200-280 eggs a year.<\/p>\n<p>We will say good by to the old Buff Orpington hens who will be recycled.
