I pick our lunch shortly before noon. It includes Fours types of gourmet lettuce, Swiss chard, Red Kale, Green Kale, Collard greens, Japanese mustard, radishes, Green Onions, Garlic Chives, Oregano, Italian Parsley, Cilantro and Basil, for the base of the salad.\u00a0 These are the green things we eat every day. Organic green things are\u00a0 expensive to buy, so I beat the system by planting my own greens.<\/p>\n<p>Right now, I am still buying the organic tomatoes, broccoli, peppers, cucumbers, and carrots that go on top of the greens.\u00a0 However, in another month, I should also be able to pick these out of the main garden.
