This is funny. When I came down stairs this morning, Bob looked at me and said,”It warmed up”. It is minus twenty below zero.”<\/p>\n
This is not funny. Our windchill report is minus 40 degrees below. Flesh can freeze when it is this cold.\u00a0 I have been sick for over a week, the well is frozen in the barn, and Bob has to haul water from the basement for the animals.<\/p>\n
Out by the barn, the big dogs are rolling in the snow. I think this is why they are called “GREAT” Pyrenees.\u00a0 Nothing much seems to bother them.\u00a0 I am feeling small and thankful.\u00a0 The old farm house is warm, and the coffee is good. Chicken soup is simmering on the stove. \u00a0 I am wearing long johns under the flannel nightgown and heavy robe. I continue resting, wrapped up in a sheep wool comforter.<\/p>\n
It is harsh, but it will get better.\u00a0 The\u00a0 well will get fixed, and I will heal.\u00a0 It seems that the Lord is telling me to “Let what you see, point you to the need, and cause you to pray for others.”\u00a0 Today, I will pray for the homeless.<\/p>\n
