Basil, Sage, and Thyme are in the dehydrator now. They will be dried for winter use in the kitchen.\u00a0 The potato plants are dying back, a sign that we can harvest our potato crop very soon. The leaves on the garlic plants are wilting and changing from bright green to\u00a0 brown.\u00a0 The garlic is ready to dig. The tomatoes are starting to turn red, a sign that the ripening has begun. Dried flowers are hanging from the kitchen ceiling, bringing vivid colors in the house.<\/p>\n<p>The jeans that were too tight this Spring are now loose. The change is from working in the garden.\u00a0 The loft is full of hay bales, a sign that our sheep will\u00a0 eat this winter.\u00a0 It is easy to&#8221;read&#8221; the signs of the changing seasons. If you look, you can see them.\u00a0 However, I am aware of more important signs.\u00a0 There are signs all over the world that point to another kind of harvest.
