I have learned over the years of bee keeping and butterfly watching that If I feed them, they will come.\u00a0 As a result, every year, I plant seeds that will grow into natural food, habitat, and medicine for my winged friends.\u00a0 Under grow lights in the basement are several flats of Thyme <em>(antibiotc for<\/em> the bees) and Butterfly Weed (habitat for the butterflies).\u00a0 In May, the plants will go out to the main garden to welcome my bees and butterflies.\u00a0 I<strong> know that one of the reasons our garden always has a good harvest is because of the pollinators. I feed them and they come and pollinate my vegetables, herbs,\u00a0 fruit frees, and berry bushes. The bees are my friends and I have never been stung.
