They will be picked up by the &#8220;processing&#8221; lady and returned in packages to go in the freezer.\u00a0 They have been good chickens.They have kept us in eggs for the last three years. That season will end tomorrow.\u00a0 Their next\u00a0 contribution\u00a0 will be in the form of chicken broth, creamed chicken over biscuits, and chopped chicken for stir fry.<\/p>\n<p>The young pullet hens and one rooster will be moved into the main chicken house.\u00a0 There are 12 hens and they are enthusiastically giving me 12 eggs a day.\u00a0 (The rooster is happy too).<\/p>\n<p>Chickens are handy on the farm.
