It is organized for the annual processing of homemade soups.\u00a0 When the wind is howling around the back door, the sky is gray, and the snow is three feet deep, I will be so glad that there is a supply of\u00a0 homegrown and homemade soup. The &#8220;soup kitchen&#8221; happens every fall. I chop, stir, season, and create new flavors of soup.\u00a0 Today, is for Butternut squash curry soup, bean and turkey ham soup, potato and cheese soup, and chicken soup with Amish noodles.<\/p>\n<p>The big kettles are bubbling away and the smells are incredible.\u00a0 When it is all cooked, I will bag it up and put it in the freezer.<\/p>\n<p>It is going to be a very good day.
