They are all driving a long way to Minnesota to pick up their new Great Pyrenees puppies. One lady flew to Minneapolis, rented a car, drove to the farm, and drove her two female Pyr pups back to Reno, Nevada.\u00a0 Tomorrow, a man from New Jersey, will be driving straight through to pick up his all white male Pyr pup. This morning, a couple of folks from Kansas\u00a0 met their new female Badger marked pup.<\/p>\n<p>I find that\u00a0 people who will make the effort to get here will take good care of their puppies.\u00a0 These folks all seem to have a sense of adventure and to be out of the ordinary. They seem to be independent and to know what they want. I like that.\u00a0 None of these people have livestock. They simply want my\u00a0 big dogs to be a companion and to take care of business.\u00a0 There is something very comforting to have a Pyr draped in front of the back door at night.\u00a0 It is reassuring to know that the yard is being patrolled and watched over by the big dogs.<\/p>\n<p>It may be a sign of the times that more pups are being sold to &#8220;city people&#8221; who want\u00a0 added security for their families.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am meeting some really interesting folks.
