It is holding on tightly to all its needles. We usually take down our tree on New Years day. Not this year.\u00a0 It will probably be put away this week end. Bob takes off the lights and I put away all the glass ornaments.\u00a0 I am thinking about making up a box of ornaments for each of my sons. I have ornaments from the years they were growing up.<\/p>\n<p>We still have all the white lighted candles in each window. They cast a friendly glow over us each evening. I will miss them when we put them away.\u00a0 Bob turned off the big star on the barn last night.\u00a0 It looks dark out there now. The first year we moved to the farm,\u00a0 he built a huge (8 foot by 8 foot star with light rays streaming from the bottom.\u00a0 It looks really special when the sheep are standing under it.<\/p>\n<p>Nostalgia comes each year when it is time to put away the Christmas things.\u00a0 That lasts until I start to order the garden seeds out of the piles of catalogs. My seed orders will be completed this week.
