They will grow well under the grow lights in the basement. When they get to be about two inches tall, I will begin to trim them and make salads.<\/p>\n<p>In April, I will move them outside to my square foot garden boxes. In May, I will sell the pots of beautiful colored lettuce from my green house.\u00a0 Each pot will include Amish Deer Tongue lettuce, Revolutionary Red lettuce, Butter head lettuce, and Speckled trout back lettuce.<\/p>\n<p>Who ever thought I would get\u00a0 so excited about different colored lettuce?\u00a0 It is that &#8220;country thing&#8221; big time!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, I am planting an assortment of fancy lettuce in four by four pots.
