We Believe
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent I Am, the Creator of the universe and the Redeemer of mankind. God has further revealed Himself as a triune being, manifested as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and as such shares in the divinity and deity of God. He came to earth to be born and live His life without sin, providing redemption from sin. He was crucified, died, buried, and was resurrected to life in bodily form.
All men through original sin , are in violation of God's righteous requirements and His holy character by both nature and act and are therefore subject to His wrath and just condemnation.
Salvation is man's only hope from the power of sin and God's righteous judgment, obtained through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift, offered free to a sinner, and cannot be earned by works. The sinner's confession and individual faith in the Lord Jesus Christ secures salvation. Salvation transforms a person from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God and gives the believer certain freedoms, rights, and authorities.
The Holy Spirit is active in the life of all believers; illuminating the Scriptures, comforting in time of trouble, guiding in truth, and convicting of sin. An infilling of the Holy Spirit is available that bestows upon the believer spiritual gifts and power for service and ministry in the body of Christ.
The Church is the active body of Christ in the world today. The Church's mission is to evangelize the world, to be a place for man to worship God, and to be a channel to perfect the individual believer into the likeness of Christ. The Church has two ordinances - Water Baptism and Holy Communion.
The Scriptures , both Old and New Testaments, are inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man; they are the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
God created man in His image. Finding no counterpart for man, God created the woman from man, and brought the woman to the man. God blessed the union of one man and one woman living within the constraints of marriage.
