The first new potatoes of the season were dug this morning.Â Dinner will include steamed potatoes, decorated with fresh chives and parsley, and floating in butter. Smiling now! Â Â Having a big garden, and growing our own food, is one of my favorite things to do. It works for me.

Picking cabbages, wax beans, cucumbers, onions, Kale, lettuce, and lots of greens. Herbs are drying in big bunches from the kitchen ceiling.Â The garden is a blessing. Life is good.
