Resting and Reading
Sometimes, it is good to just “Rest”. I rest when I read. Currently reading “As America Has Done to Israel” by John P. Mcternan. It is an insightful study and I am learning. History is a good teacher.

Dehydrating Herbs
Our screened porch is my Dehydrating station. Two American Harvester Dehydrators run around the clock. I like to dry my herbs before they flower. Elderberry Blossoms
Elderberry syrup is great for coughs. As soon as these blossoms become berries, I will be making the syrup. It is good to keep on hand in the pantry.

Lovely Square-foot Boxes
Our square foot garden boxes are planted with flowers, herbs, and veggies. This year, the veggies include wax beans, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, and tomatoes. I plant the flowers to attract the honey bees. I plant the flowers because they are pretty and make me Happy! Happy! Happy!
