Dehydrating Herbs
Our screened porch is my Dehydrating station. Two American Harvester Dehydrators run around the clock. I like to dry my herbs before they flower. At this time, Basil, Sage, Dill, Peppermint, Italian Parsley, and Cilantro are ready to be cut and dried. Some go right into the dehydrators and others will be collected in big bunches and hung from the kitchen ceiling. Fresh herbs make the house smell good, really good! Herbs do best for drying if they are cut in the morning before it gets hot. I have information about the American Harvester Dehydrators on my web site.
