Flying

Early morning walks are a wonderful thing. It is quiet and still. Each day, I see new things.В  This morning, there was a family of barn swallows swooping and diving off of the roof. They are fun to watch. The adults glide smoothly, effortlessly. The young ones frantically flap their wings, struggling to stay in the air. They will learn in time to ride the wind currents and soar high up.

Sometime, baby Christians are like those baby birds. They struggle and flap. In time, they will learn to trust and soar. There is a purpose for the struggle and flapping. It makes for strong wings. The little birds will grow strong like their parents. Baby Christians will mature and fly high. Some flapping is necessary.В  Don’t judge them, help them learn to fly.
