Tomato Monday

Today is officially “Tomato Monday”. There are many, many, five gallon buckets of Brandy wine and Amish Paste tomatoes lined up on my back porch. Bob picked and picked and picked. Some of the Brandy wines weigh over 2# apiece. Today is the day they graduate into tomato sauce. All four burners on my stove will soon be holding big pots of tomatoes cooking down into sauce. Even my crock pot will be full of tomatoes.

I will save seed from the very best to plant next year. Seed time and harvest is a beautiful thing. The beat goes on and on and on. I am blessed to be part of it.
