It is quiet.
The old farm is quiet tonight. Snow blankets the garden and the big dogs are curled up in barn next to the sheep. It is cold, even for them. My dishes are done and the kitchen is clean. The leftovers have been put away. Bob is wearing his new moccasins and his feet are warm. The only lights in the living room shine from the Christmas tree. A single white candle gently glows from each window.
Our house is full of the peace and presence of the Lord. We honor Him and have celebrated His birthday. I look forward to when He will come again–as the King of kings and Lord of lords. It is good for me to be quiet. Â My God reigns!

Dear Sarah, I can picture your s and Bobs peaceful home perfectly as I have been blessed to visit your home and Gods peace and presence meets you at the door and also follows you home.. I am blessed to call you “friend”.
