The Best Time of My Day

The best time of day is early in the morning. It is dark outside, and silent in the house. I am in my favorite chair with a blanket around my shoulders. The poodle is curled up at my feet, and a Great Pyrenees is watching me from across the room. My Bible is in my lap. I have been talking to God.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
