Green Onions

We should be eating green onions from the garden by now. However, the onion sets are still in the basement. Poor babies. They really want to be in the dirt. Unfortunately, there is snow covering my onion patch. My weather guy says that this week end will be nice. No more snow. There is hope!

Today, I will satisfy the urge to get my hands in the dirt by filling up my hanging baskets. The baskets will be planted with flowers, some with herbs and several with cherry tomatoes. They can hang inside the green house until it warms up. The sun is shinning on the green house this morning and it will be warm inside. It is not the same as working in the big garden, but I have to do something!
