Lamb Progress

Any minute now, the lambing could begin. I will be checking the barn every two hours. The Mother sheep have fresh straw, water and hay. Some of the ewes are “bagging up” and they will be the first to be put into the jugs to await their babies. I received my first deposits on the new lambs today. We should have 20 -30 Polypay lambs for sale this year.

Bob needs to buy some more hay. We are running low. The snow has finally melted. That means the green grass will be showing up soon. The sheep will be happy, happy, happy! (me too)
