Tomatoes

Tomatoes are planted, so are the peppers, egg plants, basils, cabbages, broccoli,В  and cucumbers. These plants were from set outs grown in the basement under grow lights. The beans, carrots, beets are all planted from seeds.В  I am so thankful for the “helping hands’ that arrived yesterday. It is a labor intensive time of the year.

We have been blessed with visitors, too. Several have stopped by to see the baby lambs. (Polypay lambs are for sale and two ram lambs were sold this morning). Later on,В  some folks came buy to buy tomato plants and brought us some fresh sun fish.В  They made for an incredible lunch!

Time for a nap and then back out there. More plants to go into the main garden this afternoon. We will probably work until dark. What a blessing it is to live in the country! Smiling now!
