The Cat, Continued —

My adventure with the huge Tom cat continues as he and I adjust to each other. He is assigned the rodent patrol in the basement. What is interesting is that our indoor Great Pyrenees and the Cat get along just fine. They ignore each other. However, Pilgrim, the poodle, does not like the cat and the cat returns the feeling. Pilgrim barks and attacks, whenever the cat tries to come upstairs into the kitchen. Cat runs back into the basement and Pilgrim walks away looking smug. Did I mention that the cat is bigger than the poodle? Currently, they have reached a truce. Pilgrim stays out of the basement and the cat does not try for the kitchen. All is well at the farm house, and peace reigns. To be continued—
