Homemade Soup
One of my favorite things to do is to make a “savory” soup. Today, I began withВ left over of lamb roast in an eight quart kettle. Next, I added the veggies — (from last summers garden )– tomatoes, squash, corn, cabbage, carrots and potatoes. The final step are the dried herbs (from last summers garden) — sage, basil, oregano, and hot peppers.В Salt and pepper are added too. I will add enough water to cover everything and simmer it on the back burner all day.
A hot bowl of soup is my “comfort” food today. The kitchen is my happy place!
