Pumpkin Pies

Today is the official “pumpkin pie day”. I will be bringing in the pumpkins from the cart, baking the pies, freezing the pies, and enjoying the pumpkin harvest. We like pumpkin pie, pumpkin custard, pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin soup, and pumpkin cookies. The huge pumpkins will welcome our guests by the back door.The tiny pumpkins will decorate the kitchen for fall. Pumpkins seem to celebrate the the harvest season.

Bob will be a happy camper with pumpkin pie and whipping cream.
