Planting

This week, we will begin to plant the main garden. Bob and I will plant Yukon Gold potatoes. The goal is to plant enough potatoes for our use and have some to share with the local Food Shelf. The old timers say to plant potatoes before Good Friday.

I will plant Snow Peas to climb the cattle-panel trellises. They will be soaked overnight to speed up the germination process. The onions sets I ordered have arrived. We use a lot of onions and we plant a lot of sets. It will take both of us, to get them all in the ground. I LOVE my garden! Let the games begin!!!
