Talk About Him
“Also, I say unto you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of man will confess before the angels of God”.

Great Recipes
There are some great recipes for Pumpkin soup on the internet. We have so many pumpkins this year, that I am looking for creative and yummy ways to fix them. The soup is easy, delicious, and freezes well. I will make a gallon at a time.
Bob would rather have pumpkin pie, draped with whipped cream!

Harvest
They only things left to do in the garden are to dig the rest of the potatoes and do some basic clean up. I am ready to be done with it for this year. The harvest has been bountiful and is safely preserved for the fierce Minnesota winter. I will take time to rest now and be thankful.
Seed time to harvest and the beat goes on.

Vote The Bible
I am wearing a large button every where I go. It says “Vote The Bible”. Maybe someone will ask me what that means. I would be thrilled to tell them!!!

Children
“All your children shall be taught by the Lord and great will be the peace of your children.”
Isa. 54;13
Somebody needs to believe this today—big time!

Thank You, Lord.
The Lord has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens me morning by morning, He awakens my ear to hear as the learned.
Isa 50:4

Garden
The garden activities have slowed down. The kitchen is now my “headquarters.” I finished canning grape juice and have frozen gallons of tomato sauce. Today, I will begin baking the Butternut squash for freezing. Maybe I can get to the apple sauce too.
It feels like fall and I am ready to be finished with the garden. My speaking schedule is filling up. I bought some new dress shoes with high heels. My feet are happy in sneakers and sandals. The new shoes will be an adjustment!

Grape Juice
Today, I will be canning grape juice. My hands will be busy. My heart will be somewhere else. Today, I will be praying. I do not like what is happening in the world right now. It seems to me to be like a very large pot of hot water about to boil over.
My sympathy goes out to the families of our diplomats who were killed. My disappointment in Mr. Obama’s response to this grows. In addition, he refuses to meet with the Israel’s prime minister when he visits the U. S. I think this is rude.
It is frustrating to watch and be aware of what is happening in our world . I can’t fix it, but I can Pray. Today I can grape juice. Today, I pray.
By November, I will be finished with all the canning. In November I will vote.
“If my people which are called by my Name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
