Puppy Meets His New Family

There seemed to be an instant connection with this puppy and his new family. When the boys and Mom went upstairs, the pup tried to follow. He has not learned to climb steps. The pup waited patiently at the foot of the stairs for the boys to return. He really wanted to follow his new […]

Puppy and People

Today, another great Pyrenees puppy met his new people. He will travel home with them to Wisconsin. They came equipped with paper towels and handy wipes. That is always a great idea when traveling with a puppy. ( I learned that the hard way.)  The pup looks a lot like  his sire, Boaz. He is […]

Plants and Puppies

Plants and puppies will keep me busy today. The first tiny plants have emerged from the potting soil. They are seeking the light provided by the grow lights hanging over them. Today, I will water them all. It is a beautiful thing to plant seeds and watch them grow. Most of the food we are […]

I am sipping a smoothie made with strawberries and blueberries. (grown last summer) 3. A  man called and bought 10 of our spring ewe lambs who […]

Dealing With It

The back porch thermometer reads 20 degrees below zero. It is cold.  There is bread baking in the oven and soup cooking in the big kettle. I will be calling in all my garden seed orders and answering e mails. The class I am enrolled in has homework. No more excuses, I will study. The […]
