Quiche

What’s for dinner is solved. I just came in with a dozen eggs from the hen house. My basket also contains fresh oregano, chives, parsley and basil leaves from the green house. Tonight, we will have an Onion Quiche. With the eggs, herbs, and onions, I will mix in cheddar cheese and a little Swiss cheese. The refrigerator holds some fresh mushrooms that need to be used up, so they will go in too.

My Quiche will be baked in a home made pie crust. Bob will be a happy camper. A few years ago there was a book entitled”Real Men Don’t Eat Quiche”.

Not so. My real man eats Quiche and loves it! Later on, when the asparagus comes up, we will have asparagus Quiche. After that, Zucchini Quiche . After that, potato Quiche. As long as my hens are laying, the Quiche will happen!!
