Grrrrrrrrrrrr
Grrrrrrrr My freezer died. Fortunately, it was only about half full. We did manage to save some of the food. It got put in the old chest freezer in the barn. That freezer is older than time, but still runs good.
The best part of this is that my chickens will get a bunch of the thawed things. The big dogs will get the thawed meat and I will get a new freezer.

Lent
In this season of Lent, I will trust more and try not to figure everything out.
Proverbs 3:5,6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Lent
I am remembering God’s promises during this season of Lent. One I really like is Psalm 91:10,11.
“No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up least you dash your foot against a stone.”
I like it a lot that there are angels taking care of me and mine. It is comforting.

No Worries
All my big dogs are barking at once. They surround the house and barn with Great Pyrenees warnings. I don’t see anything, but trust my dogs. It might be a fox. Maybe it is a coyote. It could be a pack of stray dogs. Maybe they are warning away a cougar. They could be letting someone who is up to no good to stay away from Milk and Honey Farm.
Whatever is the cause, the Great Pyrenees will take care of business.  The puppies are fun and I enjoy the long walks with the dogs. Today, I appreciate the feeling of security that the big barking dogs bring. No worries.

Lent
Martin Luther King said ” I have a dream”. This season of Lent, I have a plan. My plan is simple. I will focus on the Lord and on what He is doing and I will pray. Dreams are good, but every dream needs a plan.
Psalm 121:1
“I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help? My help comes for the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
