Cold Weather Food
Homemade bean soup ( with four kinds of beans) and Jalapeno corn bread make a great cold weather meal. The other night, we had wind chills of minus 40 degrees. The hot soup and corn bread made it tolerable. If the winter in Minnesota doesn’t kill you, it will make you stronger!

For Your Information-there are the “good guys” and the “bad guys” at your grocery store. For example, a “good guy” vegetable is broccoli. It contains lots of vitamin C, carotenoids, vitamin K and folic acid. Apple Crisp
